Billing, refunds, license keys
Refund Policy
- Since our software is an immediate downloadable product, we are able to offer limited refunds on a case-by-case basis. This software is sold “as-is” with no express or implied warranty. Please see your purchase page and our support pages if you need assistance with common troubleshooting issues or frequently asked questions. All patches to the software will be updated on researchherbals.com and you will be notified via email if and when a new version is available. Please keep your software and device up to date. Research Herbals and Village Herbalists are not responsible for system malfunctions, incompatibility, or out-of-date software.
- Refunds are only available for purchases made within the last 30 days.
- Refunds are only provided for the initial purchase price, and do not include any additional fees or charges. Refunds will not include any transaction fees by our third-party payment processor, “Stripe” or any additional fees or charges from third-party vendors outside of our control.
Replacement of License Keys
We are able to offer more license keys on a case-by-case basis, should you need to reinstall the program on your system after a system loss or a new device purchase. Please note: we are unable to issue extra license keys to family members, friends, or colleagues. We have gift options available as well as bulk licensing discounts for Herbalists and educational institutions.
For already-purchased license keys: Please contact admin@researchherbals.com for a replacement key, please include your order number and your email associated with your account.

Refund Process
- To request a refund, please contact support@researchherbals.com with your order number, email and details used for purchase with a brief explanation of your problem and request. We will do our best to attempt to assist with any troubleshooting, please check out our support section for frequently asked questions, videos and more. For all billing inquiries, please login to your account created on researchherbals.com or email support@researchherbals.com.
- Our team will review your request and determine if you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria above.
- If approved, we will process the refund back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed and appear in your account.
If a refund or exchange becomes necessary for gift items, and the item was marked as a gift when purchased with your account, you’ll receive a gift credit to use on researchherbals.com. Gift cards are only approved after contacting support@researchherbals.com. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, no further action is needed. These details will be sent via email once this is approved.
